From the storied Guji region, this deeply fruity Ethiopian decaf originates in Benti Nenka village, where smallholder farmers cultivate coffee under native shade trees and companion crops at elevations that unlock the region's signature vibrancy. Processed at Eyasu Worasa's Guduba mill - a facility refined over a decade of meticulous craft - this natural process lot reveals lush berry and stone fruit character balanced by delicate florality and a refined tea-like finish. Swiss Water decaffeination preserves the nuanced complexity that makes Ethiopian coffees exceptional, delivering full sensory experience without caffeine.

Carefully Crafting Every Cup
Responsibly Grown Coffee
This coffee comes from the Benti Nenka village in Hambela, where coffee crops - usually smallholder farms of less than two hectares - are planted under and among shady garden vegetation such as false banana trees and other crops used as food. The high altitudes and uniquely beneficial climates here allow for the vibrancy and nuance Ethiopian coffees, particularly from Guji, are so well known for.
Swiss Water Process Decaffeinated
The Swiss Water process of decaffeination allows the vibrant flavors that Luz has cultivated, as she has worked thoughtfully to improve farming practices, combat damaging insects, and select the highest quality ripe cherries. Her efforts show in the resulting cup. Swiss Water Process is widely considered as the gold standard in natural decaffeination.
Light Roast Bursting with Flavor
The light roast of this Ethiopia natural single origin highlights the beautiful taste of the coffee without overpowering.

Probably the best decaf I’ve ever had.
I would prefer a lighter roast to get a brighter taste. It’s a little too dark for specialty coffee. But there’s definitely potential!
Hi Virginia, thanks for the feedback! This version of Lil' Rev (vol. 3) is a bit richer than some of the other versions. If you like a lighter roast, I can tease for you that the next iteration of Lil' Red (coming very soon) could be right up your alley!
Sadly was not a fan of this, didn’t really taste like anything, just hot water, and I followed the same brewing proportions that I usually do for pour over coffee
Hi Ross, we're so sorry to hear that you didn't have a good experience with Lil' Red. Are you able to share how much coffee you used and how you brewed? We'd love to make sure we have a great cup - and will make it up to you.
With the anaerobic fermentation process, this coffee is bright and fruity with a chocolate finish. Every bit as complex and interesting as regular coffee. Great for pour over, Americanos, and cold brew.
Not a fan of the flavor. Slight sour aftertaste. As an exclusive decaf drinker, I think I need a bolder brew. Smells really great, just the flavor isn’t my taste.
