Howler is decaffeinated using the natural Sugarcane Ethyl Acetate (EA) method. The green coffee is exposed to steam to open the pores on the surface. Ethyl acetate, a naturally-occurring compound found in sugar cane and many fruits, is then introduced to dissolve the caffeine. This form of decaffeination is popular in Colombia, where sugarcane is plentiful.

Perfect for that all day bean

More than one cup of caffeinated coffee has me jittery. Other decafs had me feeling like I was drinking that diet java. This is the real deal and can be a nice treat for evenings or busy work days.
