Carefully Crafting Every Cup
From Huila with Care: Organic Coffee Cultivation at Its Finest
Known for its rich soil and ideal climate, Huila provides the perfect conditions for growing coffee. Our beans are organically grown here, adhering to sustainable practices that ensure both the health of the land and the purity of our coffee. Each bean is nurtured with natural methods that enhance the bean's intrinsic flavors. These beans are renowned for their robust and vibrant profiles, yielding coffees with rich, complex flavors that are as satisfying as they are sustainable.
Clean Decaffeination,
Pure Flavor
Howler is decaffeinated using the natural Sugarcane Ethyl Acetate (EA) method. The green coffee is exposed to steam to open the pores on the surface. Ethyl acetate, a naturally-occurring compound found in sugar cane and many fruits, is then introduced to dissolve the caffeine. This form of decaffeination is popular in Colombia, where sugarcane is plentiful.
Precision Roasted,
Flavor Perfected
Howler is medium roasted to perfection, balancing strength with subtlety to highlight its complex flavor profile.

Even though I’ve not seen the roast date on the bag, the coffee beans have a fresh taste and coffee came up. Very delicious beans could be a little bit lighter roasted too dark but it’s my personal opinion. In general, I highly recommended
So far I tried Howler in French Press and Pour Over. Both times this bean really lacked flavor. It ended up tasting like warm water with a touch of coffee. Fingers crossed that the others are more flavorful.
Hi CC, are you able share your brewing ratios for both French Press and pour over? For French Press we recommend 1:15 (coffee to water) with a course grind, and for pour over we recommend 1:16 with a medium fine. Sorry to hear that your first cups lacked flavor, hopefully this helps do the trick!
I did not receive my product and reached out twice to customer service and have not heard back.

Not my favorite Decaf , had a strange earthy taste to it ?
Three Bears decaf beans by Big Bad Decaf are the absolute best I’ve ever tried… they’ve truly spoiled my palate for anything else.
Since I stick almost exclusively to half-caff or full-decaf Americanos, finding a decaf that still delivers such a rich, dreamy flavor profile feels like striking gold.
Seriously, if you’re looking for exceptional decaf, you need to try this. I can’t recommend it enough!
